Michelle Sprangers presents TTYL: The Wave of the Future, a unique and provocative expose of modern photography. Her work questions and explores
the common expression “talk to you later”. The series of TTYL photographs depict sound waves representing the phrase, as communicated
through different medium: texting, email,
writing, speaking, and telephoning. Michelle
Sprangers has studied photography at
the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design,
and is currently completing a Certificate of

Deer Lake Maple, an acrylic on canvas by James Charles Walsh

James Charles Walsh worked as a sign
painter and operated his own company, before
enrolling in the Graphic Design and
Illustration program at Capilano College in
1986. As an artist, Walsh strives to paint
outside the lines and is very interested in the
intense colour saturation created with the
interplay of light and shadow in tropical
vegetation. His paintings are so attuned to the
natural beauty and colour of the landscape
that they invite the viewer to inch closer to
the canvas. Walsh’s work encompasses fine
art and design.
