Bravo Burnaby! spans three event filled weekends this spring. Use the listings below to plan your Bravo Burnaby! Head to the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts to check out a performance, enjoy one of Burnaby's festivals or gross yourself out at Metropolis at Metrotown's grossology.
Weekend One May 28 – 30
Visit some of Burnaby’s favourite galleries and museums during the first weekend of Bravo Burnaby! With the SFU Art Gallery, SFU Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology and Deer Lake Gallery all open, rediscover some of Burnaby’s hidden gems. For an outdoor activity, the City of Burnaby is showcasing its eco-sculptures with Wild In The City or join the Heritage Walking Tour. Kids of all ages will want to check out Animal Grossology at Metropolis at Metrotown, on throughout the summer.
Weekend Two June 4 – 6
A Burnaby favourite, Hats off Day occurs this weekend! Also this weekend, check out The Greatest Cities in the World , the Northwest Dance Academy Recital or the Encore Dance Academy for a new taste of culture. Looking for a good cause? The BCDSF Silent Walk & Run and the Rhythm of Life both take place this weekend. For those into a little more action… The Vancouver Whitecaps take on Tampa Bay or get involved yourself with Play On! Burnaby…
Weekend Three June 11 - 13
Get out and enjoy the last weekend of Bravo Burnaby! The kids will enjoy the Burnaby Village Museum’s “Tools of the Trade” exhibit or Animal Grossology while those looking to satisfy a cultural craving can check out the George Fertig Exhibit at the Burnaby Art Gallery or Ohanashi: The Story of Our Elders at the Nikkei Heritage Centre. For those looking to get outside an soak up the summer weather check out The Cardiac Classic Bike Fest or the 5 Peaks Trail.
