Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre
The Nikkei Centre serves Japanese Canadians across the country as an important resource for other communities to learn about the Japanese Canadian experience through public programming, events, and exhibits. Located on the corner of Kingsway and Sperling Avenue in Burnaby, their signature building was conceived by architects Raymond & Jason Moriyama, renowned for high-quality, sustainable and award winning design, together with talented project architect Ken Takeuchi. Fronted by a beautiful Japanese and Canadian garden maintained by the Vancouver Japanese Gardener’s Association, the Centre offers free underground parking.
