Music, Comedy and Much More at the Shadbolt Centre

Kick off the warm summer months with some music and laughter at the award-winning Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.  From musical theatre to outrageous comedy and lyrical opera, the Shadbolt Centre has something for everyone.

Here are a few upcoming performances at the Shadbolt:
June 10-13, Titanic, The Musical – Based on the true story of the great ship’s maiden voyage from its departure in England to the sinking in the Atlantic by an iceberg.  As the winner of five Tony Awards (including “Best Musical”), this epic production promises to engage and entertain. 
June 13, Outrageous Cabaret 12 – They’re back… and this time it’s personal! Outrageous Cabaret 12 features the best from past Outrageous Women’s and Men Outragin’ Cabarets.  Yes, both genders on stage!  Watch and laugh as the hilarity ensues between these notoriously funny men and women.  Then laugh some more!  You might even laugh yourself to tears.  But, don’t worry… Kleenex is available in the lobby if you’re brave enough to watch this comedic battle of the sexes—and live to tell the story!  (Note: Explicit language and mature content.)

June 21, Opera on a Sunday Afternoon – Enjoy the harmonious sounds of the Burnaby Lyric Opera as they present their final concert in this four-part series.
