This is the last week to visit the Burnaby Farmers’ Market - where you’ll find conventional and organic produce, impressive ready-to-eat treats, live music and a variety of creative offerings. The market will be open this Saturday: Oct. 30th, before it closes for the season and re-opens in May.
Along with a children’s play area and a book exchange, the market features an array of sweet and savoury items such as jams and jellies, fresh salsa, sauces and a variety of freshly baked goods (and much more). Local artisans will also be on hand with specially-crafted pottery, woodwork, jewellery, soaps and other handmade products.
The last Burnaby Farmers’ Market will be held this coming Saturday, October 20, from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Burnaby City Hall parking lot (next to Deer Lake Parkway near Canada Way).
