Halloween Hysteria (& Christmas workshops) at the Burnaby Village Museum

Prepare to be chilled, thrilled and spooked to the core at the Burnaby Village Museum this Halloween season.  For three days in October (Oct. 28th to 30th), the entire village will be transformed into an eerie haunted village - complete with witches, trolls, gravediggers… and some tricky trick-or-treating.

On these special fright nights, be sure to don your favourite costume and prepare for an evening of Halloween hysteria with haunting legends, myths and superstitions.

Visit the fortune teller, take in the belated fashions of the dead Victorians, experience the circus sideshow and hear the moans of the dearly departed in the cemetery as you walk through the forbidding village in the dark cover of night.

Some of the other spine-chilling activities include:

•    Trick-or-treating for the kids.
•    Check out the latest styles in coffins - and get measured for yours.
•    Savour tasty toes and other bloodcurdling treats at the Voodoo café.
•    Enjoy unlimited rides on the carousel.
From now until Halloween, the Burnaby Village Museum also presents a series of walking tours and workshops:
