Arts Alive at the Burnaby Art Gallery
From April 24th to May 25th, the Burnaby Art Gallery presents vibrant and thought-provoking artwork by secondary students from across Burnaby.
The Arts Alive 2009 exhibit represents the diversity of talent and creativity from Burnaby’s young artists from local School District #41 – as students in grades 8 through 12 submit a range of work that includes drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture and digital media.
Some 124 works of art will be featured by more than 130 students in this dynamic show from participating Burnaby schools, such as Alpha, Burnaby Central, Burnaby Mountain, Burnaby North, Burnaby South, Byrne Creek, Cariboo Hill, and Moscrop.
Join the Burnaby Art Gallery for the special Arts Alive reception on April 24th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
