Tourism Burnaby’s T-shirts for a Cause

Tourism Burnaby’s T-shirts for a Cause program involves selling trendy t’s and tanks (pictured below) by donation at various festivals and events in Burnaby throughout the summer of 2015.

The official launch for this initiative will be Saturday, June 6th at the Hats Off Day Festival in The Heights. Tourism Burnaby will have a booth in front of the Burnaby Neighbourhood North House (4463 Hastings Street), and t-shirt sales will start immediately after the parade passes, at around 10:30 AM.

There is a minimum donation of $10 (cash only please!), and all profits from the project will be donated to the Burnaby Neighbourhood House’s Community Kitchen, a weekly program offered at Edmonds Neighbourhood Resource Centre and Burnaby Neighbourhood House South wherein limited-income families join together to prepare healthy meals to take home, and to have lunch. In addition to supporting this excellent cause, the goals of this project are to promote awareness of Burnaby and the many neighbourhoods that make up the community.

You can also order your t-shirts for pickup at Tourism Burnaby’s office (309-4603 Kingsway, across from Metropolis at Metrotown) by calling 604 419 0377, or by emailing

Are these unisex one size fits all or are there shirts for men, women & kids in various sizes?

    • Tourism Burnaby M&C

Hi Jodelene! Thank you for your inquiry. The t-shirts are adult sizes – the tank top and slim fit t-shirts are unisex sizing, and the classic t-shirt is a more traditional athletic fit with men’s sizing. Hope this helps :)
