Summer Music Festivals & Concerts at Deer Lake

With its natural amphitheatre shape overlooking the lake, the Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park is the ideal location for outdoor concerts and festivals.

Here are some musical must-attends for this summer:

  • Father John Misty with special guests – MAY 26, 6 PM
    American singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer Father John Misty performs his new album Pure Comedy on Friday, May 26th. The album is the highly anticipated follow-up to his internationally acclaimed album, I Love You, Honeybear.

  • Symphony in the Park – JULY 9, 7 PM
    This annual event performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is very popular amongst classical music enthusiasts. Come early, bring a blanket or chair and a picnic, and settle in for a wonderful evening of light classics and popular favourites. Parking in the vicinity is limited, so alternate transportation is recommended.
  • Jack Johnson with special guest John Craigie – JULY 23, 5 PM
    On July 23rd, internationally-recognized singer-songwriter Jack Johnson is coming to Burnaby to perform his smooth rock and acoustic tunes for a crowd of 10,000 people. The concert is sold out, but watch out for contests and give-aways leading up to the event.
  • Burnaby Blues & Roots Festival – AUGUST 12, 12 PM
    This annual event presented by the City of Burnaby showcases an eclectic variety of world-class music on three stages. In addition to the music, Festival goers can also enjoy food trucks and a beer garden.
